Diabetic recipies

Post subject: I think with diabetes you can eat pretty much anything just nothing high in Sugar. My mum has diabetes and just cuts out sweets, biscuits, ice cream etc... she just makes home made meals so she knows whats going in it.
I suppose it depends what type of diabetes he has. Is it diet controlled? Pill controlled or insulin injections? _________________  Posted: Thu May 14, 2009 7:01 am
Post subject: its insulin contolled but until they get his sugar levels down as they were 32.7 when he was taken in to hospital and we are still struggling to get them into single figures he is on zero sugar until its under control which with 2 kids to feed aswell its proving a little difficult at meal times without doing seperate foods.
