Hi yes i got my daughter christened, im not religious never go to church and neither do my two daughters, i was christened so maybe that is why i decided to get my daughter christened.
I havent got my other daughter christened yet because she is only 10 months and im due to give birth in 4 weeks so we are going to have a joint one.
You have to contact you priest and some churches suggest you go to church for a couple of weeks you may also have to have fortnightly meetings with you priest.
Get your husband on the job i did.
LET ME KNOW HOW YOU GET ON.

Hey dont worry
It depends how many people you are inviting and where you are having it at.
If you are going to hire in caterers or do food yourself.
We usually do the food ourselves and it costs about £130.00 (my mum and dad do the catering)
Usually labour clubs are about £50.00 ot hire.
I cant remember sorry if you have to pay the priest it was 3 years ago.

I am also starting to think about organising a Christening and hit the problem of who to choose as godparents - My church said that my god parents had to be christened aswell ( and preferably confirmed as well) as it happens my 3 top choices all are but I did have another possibility who isn't and I didnt feel like i could lie to a man of God!! Luckily the first 3 said yes but if they hadnt i dont know what i would have done!!
I have to donate to the church as opposed to paying the vicar, and then for food afterwards we are having a buffet at a local pub, costing about £100 xx
