I had my baby at 36 weeks so not very prem, but she was an IUGR baby and weighed 3.8lbs at birth.
At her first week check up she weighed 4.8lbs and we took her back yest (2 week later) and she now weighs 5.5lbs Smile so she is doing well!
The doctor said she was going to put her on some iron drops when she is 6 weeks old and said that most prem babies have them? Does anyone know anything about these??
Hope everyones little ones are doing well x

Aimee is on iron drops twice a day and has been since she was sent home from hospital, its nothing to worry about at all, its just to make sure they have enough iron in their blood or something, Aimee is only on them until she is 1 year old xx

Aimee's poo used to be quite runny but i'm not sure if that had anything to do with the iron. When we left the hospital the gave us iron drops and vitamin drops for her, i think it was mainly just to boost their little systems because they are premmies.

Aimee has never really suffered with constipation though, maybe once or twice when she was a few months old but nothing major xx
