A mixture of prune juice and orange juice works well as long as you are also drinking lots of fresh water, moving around and having at least 5 portions of fruit and veg per day. Apologies if you don't like it's taste!

I second the prune juice idea. It works so well my sis and I have re-named it poo juice. Not sure too many people would be plucking it off the supermarket shelf if we had our way though! Laughing

i had this really bad after my first daughter 12 years ago, it was awful so i fully sympathise with you!
All i can think of is lots of water, pure orange/prune juice take ducolax it softens it!

After my first child I couldnt go to the loo for 12 weeks, I was virtully crawling to the loo in pain, the doc came out gave me an enema and lactulose to keep takin, go to your gp hun, or ask the midwife or nurse, you need something quick hun, the more you wait the harder it will be, sounds sick but your stools will clogg up. good luck and congrats on your baby xx
