Post subject: 1st Birthday Ideas
Charlie is 9 months and as we live quite far from any family, I am beginning to wonder what to do for his 1st birthday, as organising grans and grandads on each side may prove to be quite tricky. Please tell me what you did on your little ones' special day for inspiration.

My daughter's almost 9 months too, we are HOPEFULLY going to have a bbq for the adults if the weathers not to cold, and a little picnic for the babies (prob indoors) with music and lots of toys to keep them entertained.
I am inviting a few of my friends with babies so its fun for her.
Not too many people as i dont want it to be too overwhelming
Hope this helps, Katie x

well my little one was last out of our group and my friends the month before had hired halls, soft play etc and most babies werent even walking and didint apreciate all the money they had spent on the parties!!
i went for a low key get together at my mothers, some friends and family, i made a cake etc.it was small and personal but really nice!!
for his 2nd party i will do something a bit better as he will apreciate it more and possibly know more.

We had a teddy bears picnic at home for Lily-Mae with close friends and family. Luckily it was a nice day so we had the garden toys out and put a blanket on the grass for the little ones. Didnt cost a fortune and was a really good day. Grandma made the cake and I made sandwiches and brought the teddy bear shaped crisps and baby biscuits.
We than did a bbq for the adults once the little ones were sorted and napping.
