make sure she has a regular routine i stuck to feeding every 4 hours during the day so say 7am then 11am then 3pm then at the 7pm feed put her down for bed and then feed her at 11pm and put her back to bed.

just make sure you stick to feeding 4 hours during the day and dont let her go over even if shes asleep she will still take her milk and then on a night she will probably wake up every 4 hours so probs 3am and then 7am.

does she have a dummy?

Hi,

Yes I would agree stick to a routine and feed 4 hourly. I used to wake my children to feed them every 4 hours and it definatley did help with their sleep patterns. But every baby is different and you may need to try different things to se what work for her.

Bare in mind she is only young and she will eventually sleep through the night.

Just realised you posted this in May - How is she sleeping now?

My lil man feeds between every 1-3 hours! Every 4 hours, wow, you're lucky!
To get to sleep, I usually rock him in a rocking chair at night and hold him until he's in a deep sleep (where his arms fall at his side) and then put him down.

Hi, dont worry too much about them knowing the difference between day and night in the first few weeks. But I would wake them every 3-4 hours during the day for a feed! It does get better, Kaitlin is 16 weeks now, and only wakes once for a feed at abour 2am, and shes asleep for 7pm, and doesnt get up till 7pm!
