Post subject: Beef Stew
500g casserole cubed beef
4 large carrotts
1 very large or 2 parsnips
1 large onion
1 beef stock cube (any you like)
fresh new potatoes about 2 handfuls
half a cup of peas
a cup of broccoli
and a cup of cauliflower
3tbs worchestershire sauce
1 oxo cube
brown beef with oxo cube
chop oinons, carrotts and parsnips.
once beef is browned put in onions and cook for 2 mins.
add the flour and stir in.
add the beef stock with the packets insrturctions of amount of water
bring to the boil.
once to boil turn down half way and add carrots, potatos, worchestershire sauce and parsnip.
then leave to simmer for 50 mins.
then add the rest of the veg cook for a further 10 mins then serve with big crusty bread

I get the ready diced beef, put it in a casserole dish. Throw in carrots, parsnip, suede, potatoes, onion. I then pour over boiled water, stir in a few oxo cubes. Stir it all together and put in the oven for 2 hours. Easy peasy! I add dumplins half hour before its ready and also gravy granules 2 thicken water.
