Post subject: Speech development My 17month old boy seems to be really slow with his speech. He can say a couple of words, although, not very clearly. He says daddy and duddy, for dummy, but he doesn't yet say mummy, and even sometimes calls me daddy! Can anyone give me any suggestions of what to do or has anyone come across this before?
I have read to him and read with him. He watches alittle TV. He is around other children a couple of times a week, though he is an only child and I do spend alot of time with him. Help! Posted: Tue Aug 21, 2007 12:08 pm
