dark nipple!!

Post subject: dark nipple!!
my baby boy has suddenly ( at 7 month) developed one nipple which is alot darker than the other. it doesn't seem to bother him. does anyone know what this could be?
it is a reddy purple colour (at first i thought it was a bruise)
