Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for your replies!

Hey ladies
Hope you're all well. I'm 18 weeks pregnant, and as yet, have never seen my midwife, as this is my first, I just wondered if that was normal? I had a booking in appt, but it was a stand in midwife I saw.
thanks Claire Smile Smile

Hiya,
I had my booking appointment when i was just over 9 weeks, had my scan when I was 12 and a bit weeks and was told i'll be seeing my mw again at 16 weeks to go through results of my blood tests and about every 4 weeks after i should see her or my doc. I'm surprised that you didn't get a schedule of when you should be seeing someone - i did and eve though it was info overload i'd rather that than the opposite. Which pct are you with? Maybe give the mw or gp surgery a call to find out how frequently you should be seeing someone as 18wks is quitre far gone to have only had the booking appt. Have you had your first scan yet?

Good luck, keep us posted, bye for now Smile

Hi
When i had my booking app (at 14 wk) it was with a student midwife... but i briefly met my own MW.

Then when i went for triple test 2 wk later... it was another MW.

But won't see my own MW now till after 20wk scan next week.
