Baby car seat base

Post subject: Baby car seat base My daughter wants to purchase a Graco Tour Sport travel system with the Logico S
car seat base. She has a Yaris 4 door X reg but when a salesperson fitted the base she said it had 'buckle crunch' and was not suitable. I am rather concerned now cos I have a Yaris 2 door Y reg, had the older style Graco car seat base fitted in my car today and was told it was ok. I know it is not the same but surely there cannot be a lot of difference, or is there?? I have tried to obtain info from Graco but was told the car seat base was not fitted in a Yaris so they did not know if it was suitable. Rang a Toyota dealership and the salesman there told me he didnt think there would be a problem! Has anybody else had this problem.? My daughter is very upset as she only has 8 weeks to go and had her heart set on this travel system but now has to go and select another system. Post subject: Car Seat for Toyota Yaris Thank you Laura G for your reply. The sales person told my daughter the seat was not suitable but she has since been to Halfords and they told her it fitted!! They remarked that
some sales people could be more cautious but they were happy to say the fit was ok!! My daughter is a happy bunny now that she can have the system she likes. Rose
