Post subject: April Babies Antenatal Classes Help!
Hey all,

I'm new to this forum!

I'm expecting my first child on 25th April 2010. Congrats to you all.

I live in North Manchester and today tried to book our Antenatal Classes but have been told they are fully booked up and they can not get us a place at all!

I'm so upset and anxious, I feel like I have let my baby down already. I can't believe they get booked up so early. I think it's disgusting. The NHS should put more on if they get booked up so early.

Is everyone else sorted?

Personally i have no experience of how soon you should book classes, as i never went to classes when i was pregnant with my 1st child, and i think i understand the push and pant thing from doing it once already, so i am not going to bother this tme. Have you tried looking online and seeing if any local GP's hospitals or midwifery units offer appointments to perople outside of their care? I know that you can pay for private classes and care. Or try looking up Doula care. They should be able to help you...

Sorry not much help, but hope you get something sorted...
