Post subject: help with benefits Hi everyone
If anyone could shine some much needed light my way please would be much appreciated, basically i started my mat pay in aug 09 also my contracted ended in sept 09, mat pay due to finish in may 10 im now preg again due in sept so i cant really started a new job, so was wondering would i beable to claim for anything more than we get ( child bens and tax creds ) would i get anything from finshing mat pay in may up to baby being born and anything after baby is born? i dont want to seem as if im after all the benefits i can get, but i am going to needed them to servive!! thanks xx _________________    Posted: Sun Jan 24, 2010 9:04 pm
Post subject: I think you will be entitled to Maternity Allowance as whilst on maternity leave thats classed a working. and as long as you've worked 26wks (i think) of the 66wks before due date you are entitled.
