Post subject: HELP.. I have 19 week Baby Girl and 9 Week Pregnant..... 
Hi, i have a 19 week old little girl and just found out i am about 9 weeks pregnant. OMG I decided to take my full leave with 1st baby and my return to work date is 2nd Aug 2010 but i'm confused as my due date is 28th Aug 2010 and not sure what i need to do about work. Has anyone else been in this situation????? Do i have to go back to work?? can i take continues leave?? i have 28 days holidays for 2010 (Jan-Dec holiday period) should i end this maternity leave early and ask for immediate holiday then take immediate maternity leave??? I also want to make sure i get MA or SMP because at the moment i am getting MA for 1st baby as started a new job and wasn't employed during the quilfiing period but this time i'll be emp-loyed but unsure what happens..... Post subject: hi just to let u know ur not on ur own my baby will be 19 weeks tomo and im also about 6 weeks preg lol hopefully wont be in same school year if dates are right and baby plays ball.
i was asking about what im entitled to last night aswell, although my mat runs out in may and dont have a job to return to, i THINk u willl be entiltled to mat pay again as my boss did the same as u and she got paid both times? ur best asking CAB etc congrats and good luck x _________________    Posted: Mon Jan 25, 2010 3:20 pm
Post subject: Im in the same boat hun. SMP runs out this week the i am taking all my leave which takes me up to the end of Feb then i am going to start next maternity leave 1st March. As long as u dont take unpaid leave after your smp finishes u r entitled to the same benefits again. This is because u r still in paid employment whilst on smp. I would speak to your hr or wages dept about it x

Post subject: congrats, sorry i cant help, but i think your still 'employed' when on SMP so you would be entitiled to SMP on the 2nd. and i would say you could take holidays to.... not 100% would contact CAB and see what they say.
