Post subject: When did your prem baby 1st smile??? xx Heya all, ive not been on in ages, been so hectic
 but loving every minute of it!! Dexter is 3 months old 2morrow and is still not smiling  Im just wondering if any other mums with prem babys found this. oh he was 3 weeks 5 days early xxxx_________________

Post subject: Annie is smiling now, its just started, she is 10 + 5 weeks and would have been due tomorrow.
She stayed with my mam overnight last night and when I walked in this morning and she heard my voice, she broke out in a huge grin. I could have cried with happiness! Posted: Thu May 21, 2009 1:57 pm
Post subject: Tayla-Rose was 3 weeks early and i got her 1st smile yesterday
 i didnt think she would so early, shes been smiling all day today at me and her Nanna. Feel bad for Luke though as she hasnt smiled for him yet, he got up at 6am this morn to play with her to try Im sure you get that smile soon, _________________ <a><img></a> Posted: Tue Jun 16, 2009 3:06 pm
Post subject: Hi hun. I had lilly0may 8 weeks early and she is nearly 13 weeks. We have had the odd smile now and again from her but not very often and u have to work really hard to try and get her to do it.

Post subject: Max is 6 weeks today and was 3 weeks early. I was getting worried cus i read that babies should smile between 4-6 weeks and he hasn't yet. Look's like from some of your posts tho that its not unusual for prem babies to take longer. Just gonna have to keep making the silly faces!!!!

Post subject: Bobby was 6 weeks early and smiled @ 11 weeks. I kno they tell u prem babies develop slower than term babies but my relief was huge when he finally did it! I didnt even care that it was at grandpop! Id convinced myself he had something wrong with him! He's 1yr now and developing faster than some of his term baby friends who are older than him! x
