Post subject: where to go for 1st anniversary???
hi guys.. on the 4th of july is our first anniversary and we're not sure where to go. we're looking to take about 5 days off giving us a full week. i wanted to go to New York but we're going to Miami in October, and then we decided we wanted to go somewhere not too far to travel. our most recent destinations have been, egypt, tunisia, switzerland, france.. any ideas for a romantic break but not too romantic either???? thanks

Malta is gorgeous. Fab weather, beautiful sceneries, lots to do, or gorgeous beaches to just chill out on if you want to relax. And it doesnt cost a fortune.xx

Rome is lovely but does get very busy and hot in July/August. Although it is lovely and I know it quite well. You are a short train ride away from the beach (roughly half an hour - 45 minutes too!) There is also a lovely park to get away from the hustle and bustle, great shops too. Never been to Florence but it does sound like a lovely place. Amsterdam, Lisbon and Madrid are nice too, oh and Palma - Mallorca.
