Post subject: progesterone -- yes or no?
Hi,
I had some dark blood spotting in week 5 of my first pregnancy when I was in Germany in December. The doctor prescribed progesterone and magnesium, and the bleeding stopped a day after. The baby was fine on the ultrasound scan. I went to see my doctor in the UK this week (end of week 8), and he says that they usually do not prescribe progesterone. I am now unsure what to do. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks!
