Nervous about tests... has anyone else experienced?

Post subject: Nervous about tests... has anyone else experienced? We have been trying to conceive for approx 2 years, have had one confirmed miscarriage and now have had some additional tests. My results were all ok, ovulating etc however my husband has sperm with low modility. I have been referred for an operation to see whether my tubes are blocked which is done by going in through my stomach.
Has anyone else had this op? What was the next stage after this? How long did you have to wait for IVF assuming tubes not blocked? What happens next basically? Posted: Tue Aug 26, 2008 11:14 am

I am also going for this operation. I have been trying for a year now. I have the operation on the 15.10. When is yours? I am also getting a D&C and I also have a cyst so the gyn wants to check this. I also have problems with my protestrone levels. so that is been looked into. i am getting my dh sperm results today, i am trying to get through to the gyn at the moment and noone is answering the phone, so frustrating. best of luck _________________

Post subject: Hi ive had this operation last year when they bring you out of the opperation the nurse will come and tell you what they have found if anything then you will have to wait for an appointment with the doctor to discuss what the next options are for you

Post subject: My oh had low motility and the doc told us we will be looking at ivf, he didn't give us any help but after reading post on hear i learnt Zinc is a really good to help improve motility so my oh started taking this, cut back on drink and smoking and we also used pre seed.. im am now 7 weeks pg.

Post subject: i had the operation at the start of july
its a laperoscopy after the op the consultant came to give me basic results since my oh has handed in his sperm sample and we r jst waitin for the results of that and to see what the nxt step will be the op was alright i was sore tho afterwards mainly in my shoulders cos of the gas but also i had quite bad bruising so even wearing jeans was a bit sore although thats different for every one. hope it all goes well for u xx _________________   Posted: Thu Aug 28, 2008 8:20 pm
Post subject: Nervous about tests... has anyone else experienced? Thanks ladies. Op is on Friday 5th...hope everyone else going in for this goes ok too.
Will pass on the zinc tip and see what happens...just seems to be taking forever. Good luck and thanks for responses.
