Post subject: Protaras - Cyprus
hello, has anyone ever been to the above that could recommend a good all inclusive hotel??
we are looking to go there for my 30th Sad on Oct 7th.

Thanks to anyone that can help x

Not sure if its anywhere near but i can send u details of a villa in Pissouri. Its owned by the parents of a little girl i used to look after x

Hi

I stayed all inclusive at the anastasia beach hotel. It was really good and I'd recommend it.

the only thing about Protaras is its quite commercial and is very much catered for the english, if thats your thing go for it!

and if it's not your thing...... Try North Cyprus, loads of culture, great restaurants and it's turkish so it's lira and quite cheap when you get there. I go twice a year and love it! Also love the south too.

It depends what you want from your holiday - I live in Cyprus and agree with PinkyD it's very english there as is Paphos and so is probably pissouri

Agree with BabyMilly try North Cyprus if its something a bit different you want or go a little bit further to Turkey which is probably loads cheaper than flying to Cyprus but pretty much exactly the same Wink

I lived in Ayia Napa and Kapparis (so either side of Prot) It is nice but so overpriced id defo goto the north or turkey!
Pissouri is near Larnaca.

Arrr we have been looking at this one, I liked the look of it but OH said it was a bit far out as it said on reviews you had to get taxis to protaras? but its got some fantastic reviews!!

So would we fly to limmasol instead? if we went to north cyprus? I have heard they have a wine testing in the streets which sonds brilliant, so its still lira in limassol?

well we have priced them both up and turkey wins on price all the time we can get a 5 star all in for less than a 3 in cyprus ?? where is nice in tukey? I have been to bodrum a couple of times (when I was younger and wanted to go out drinking haha)
