Post subject: Anyone able to tell me if they like this idea for a pressie for missy? http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.206-7627.aspx
Have been making lists these past few days, really helping me to budget and get loads of ideas! Though with what Isabelle likes at the moment, I think just a box to stand against and some paper to scrunch would be much loved! _________________ ![]()

Post subject: as bean will be the 1st grandchild for both mine and Mark's parents we thought that we would do a "stereotypical" present from bean for them for Christmas. (bean due mid jan) I am getting both dad's and marks step dad a grandfather kit..... ie flat cap, pipe, tweed slippers and a bag of worthers originals! and for the grandma's i am getting a rain cap, knitting needles and wool and a baking book!
I am stuck on what silly thing to get our brothers (we have 1 each) as i don't know what kind of stereotypical things uncles do (besides the pull my finger thing!) any idea's gratefully received. Have done all the sensible things for them too this is just something silly _________________ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted: Wed Sep 08, 2010 9:28 pm
Post subject: awww that's cute!
you also get little books with that sort of "how to be a gran/grandpa/uncle/daddy" etc theme or the sort of journal ones too for them to write memories in for years to come - i have got them before on amazon before if you wanted something to put in for them xxxxxxx _________________ I'm not on here all the time so if you need anything PM me Arch x Posted: Thu Sep 09, 2010 8:04 am
Post subject: Christmas is close.... I have already bought a few bits for the boys. Little and often is my tactic this yr. They have a special plate set each- pretty pricey, but a keepsake! and a toy car that was on special in mothercare. Also, we are going on holiday on 22nd dec- 27th dec so thats a gift in itself. So i think a few more things and maybe £1 shop jobbies!!!

I never looked at jumperoo's but have heard good things from others! Amidst all the baby talk, has anyone actually considered what they're getting for OH/family? I haven't yet and have no clue - OH bought me a car for my birthday so it kind of has to be good!! _________________ ![]()
