Along the same lines as the book club thought I would start a thread where people could recommend any good films they have seen recently.
I love watching films but have been so disappointed with the ones I have watched recently.
Anyone got any good recommendations? I hate horror and can't watch anything too spooky as living on my own at the mo and I'm a total wimp! _________________

I'm looking forward to watching Walk The Line later. Seen it sooo many times but love it.
Off the top of my head can't think of best ones. I like a bit of everything, but like you, am not into watching anything too gorey or scary really! _________________

Ah does she Claire?! Frey was hooked on it and after she was running around the room screaming, she was pretending to be Coraline from the film _________________

I watched a few over the last few weeks.
127hrs......ok if you like movies like Frozen, Open Water but I suppose the difference with this one is that it a true story and they guy in actually survived to tell the story, unlike Open Water it being a 'guess' as to what happened.
Due Date....really enjoyed that!
The Town.....couldnt get into it, my oh and sister enjoyed it but I was tired and distracted by AB so I didnt give it my full attention.
Conviction.... very good movie!
Going to see Next Three Days tonight so will report back on that!

We watched 17 again last night which was actually quite amusing. I also watched Beauty and the Beast with Isobel today and remembered how much I love it! _________________

I don't know if anybody seen this film but i went to pics to see it last year and bought it on blue ray when it came out, i loved it!! It's Law Abiding Citizen. Great movie and it helps to have Gerard Butler as the leading man

The Island is very good. Not a horror but tense and a very good plot.
Saw Tangled in the cinema recently with a friend, really good and carefree!
Agreed on the Hangover! So silly! "Why is there a tiger in the bathroom?" HAHA!
Or if you're into golden oldie, Pillow Talk with Doris Day and Rock Hudson is fantastic and great fun!
Enjoy!
