My son has been having absence seizures for the last 6 months. Finally got to see a consultant at local hospital who more or less confirmed diagnosis but wanted a EEG. Finally got EEG on monday but now have to wait for it to be reported on, then for results to go to consultant before starting any form of treatment. Its so frustrating that it takes ages to do anything. The seizures are coming more frequently now and are really affecting his life. Can't let him out on bike, or leave him in the bath unsupervised. Any one with any experience of this?
