Post subject: Anyone else Cross Stitch? As above!
I've done a few projects and am working on more, but thought it'd be nice for those who do stitch to share what they've done and are doing. I need ideas on something to make Paul's mum for Christmas but have no idea! I've just finished this for my parents from Isabelle:
Am working on this... Itwas supposed to be for my parents 25th anniversary but that was last year... So trying to complete by Christmas! But the white is soo boring!
My most proudest project was this:
I'm also doing my own cards this year so making lots of Christmas ones, and a bookmark for my sister. And also I'm stitching my own pattern onto a blank scarf for her. I need more time!! Anyone else? x _________________ ![]()

Post subject: I have just started a cross stitch for my sisters wedding. Shes not getting married until August but I wanted to get it done.
I started it the weekend and i am about halfway though, so fingers crossed I should finish it this weekend. When I am in the middle of one, I usually bring it to work and do it in my lunch hour. x _________________ After 3 and half years of ttc, tests being clear and unable to adopt, we have decided to become a patchwork family. Post subject: Wow Maria, your photo cross stitches are awesome. I got back into cross stitching again last year when I went through a severe bout of depression as I found it was a great way to keep my hands and brain active. I made an anniversary stitch for my best friend for her wedding and gave it to her as a Christmas present.
I work as an English teacher so I am making bookmarks for my colleagues for Christmas this year and working on a baby birth stitch for the aforementioned bestie. Am starting to get into quilting as well at the moment so I'm hoping the skills will king of transfer over. _________________ ![]()

Post subject: Wow, love the photos. Never knew you could do that! I've been cross stitching since I was about 8 (so that's 19 years!). Haven't done many recently as I'm always working or doing something or another so tend just to do them as gifts for friends/family. Much easier to make cross-stich pictures rather than buying something they don't want or like!
