Hi Ladies,
How much do u get on just SMP after tax and NI any ideas. I know i will be getting £123 a week but ow much of that will i actually see.

im not sure i think i ot £106 a week and i never got taxed on it and i think i ot ni paid aswell not too sure tho.

you get 123.29 after tax, you only pay about £1 in ni, so before tax you get 124 and some pence. Ive been on maternity leave for 7 months and thats what ive got everyweek

I've been getting £510 a month but I pay £20 for our dentist out of that I think so its about £530 ish

More than i have expected then, i was looking to take home only £250 of that  lol.

Its not as bad as I thought - then with £80 tax credits and £80 child benefit its nearly £700
