When do you put your tree up?

Post subject: When do you put your tree up? As above! Am not sure when to, can't remember when mum did when I still lived at home.
The baubles are at my mum's and we don't have any tinsel yet, so I don't want to put a bare tree up! But when do you put your tree up and take it down again in your house? x _________________

Post subject: We put ours up around the 10th sometimes laters cos we have a real tree. I have some ceiling decs and wreaths up already and I take them down by the 4th jan. Its my daughters bd on the 5th Jan so I like to make sure she has her own day not an xmassy day.

Post subject: Around the 10th and will be down for new year..... Yes i may be the original scrouge
I like xmas and everything about it but the tree really does wind me up,thelights have to be evenly spaced out, i can't have baubles as i can never space the colours out evenly always end up having two of the same colour nexgt to each other. In the space of the 20 days its up i have to redecorate at least every other night.....  I am normal honestly  _________________

Post subject: I've had to put mine up early this year as to make ex and mine christmas weekends work he is having them next 2 weekends. So only gave me last saturday and sunday to get it done. I find the tree really annoying and like to get it down as soon as I can usually on new years day, but maybe earlier this year as the kids won't be with me.

Post subject: Ours went up middle November. The kids love the idea that christmas is on its way, and it gives them more time to enjoy the holidays. i normall take down the tree seven days after the new year.
