My Christmas memories strongly include coconut ice, yummy. So I'd like to make some this year!
What would be the best recipe?
My mum has one that uses real milk and sugar but includes combining the two over low heat and then boiling it while adding the coconut. All I've seen online use condensed milk and icing sugar, but no heating, just combining then and there and layering straight after.
Anyone tried both and can tell me the best? Or any thoughts which I should go for?
