Flying while pregnant

Post subject: Flying while pregnant hi all,
iv just found out im 5 weeks pregnant. Two weeks ago we booked our holiday to america in july,which means i will be 3o weeks when i leave and 32 weeks flying back. So the big question is should i risk still making the trip? This is my first pregnancy. Posted: Thu Jan 24, 2008 2:30 pm

Hi, You should consult your doctor to check if everything is alright for you to travel, Ask about any specific injections needed or not as you are pregnant.And it is known that sometimes long journeys, especially by air, you can get blood clots called thrombosis (hope I have spelled it right, something like this).
