ttc and overactive thyroid

Post subject: ttc and overactive thyroid Hi there
I have been told i am borderline for overactive thyroid so have not been given any medication. Just to get tested again in 6 months. Can this affect my chances of ttc? I have brown spottiing sometime up to 10 days before period starts. Also today i am on day 20 or 29 day cycle and after i went to the loo it was bright red blood when i wiped but nothing else since. any help would be very grateful mm xx Posted: Sun Aug 31, 2008 6:20 pm
Post subject: hi i can relate to you i too have an overactive thyroid and was on medication until a year and a half ago. I am now six weeks pregnant with my second baby and this time on no medication because it is just boarderline high now! i too had brown discharge before my af and was never sure when it started, i also had it for first few weeks of both pregnancies. i charted my temp and after four months hit nail on head! good luck hope this helps
