Post subject: Baby Care
I'd just like to thank everyone who has been kind enough to share their experiences of parenting through my survey so far. I still need responses for my final year project, and would especially like to hear from mothers and fathers of pre-term infants. This research that I'm a part of (and you could be to!) will hopefully inform a later study into the social and cognitive needs of premature babies so the more responses I can get the better.
I'm looking for parents who have a child under 18months to complete a quick online questionnaire (15-20 minutes max) for me about their experiences of parenting. It'll ask about sleeping, feeding, soothing and parental advice as well as for some basic info about your family. All responses are stored anonymously and are only accessible to the research team at Cardiff Uni. Here is the link for anyone who has the time to participate:
Unfortunately at this stage we will not be able to include parents whose child has had the following experiences or medical conditions: surgical intervention; severe brain assault; respiratory complications, retinopathy of prematurity, or necrotizing enterocolitis.
Any responses will be greatly appreciated, if you'd like to find out some more about the reseach we're doing you can do so here http://www.cardiff.ac.uk/staffnews/articles/parenting-beliefs.html (though the correct link for my study is the one I've posted above, not in the article)
