Hi ladies sorry its been a while just getting things sorted and have had loads of visitors. Me steve and Ethan r doing really well. Only thing with me is my thigh muscle is badly bruised inside my leg from where i had injection for petherdine and placenta. Its that painful i can hardly walk on it but its getting better and its coz the bruising hasn't come out my leg its in my muscle.

Anyway here is my birth story. On the 8th nov at ruffly 4.30pm i had a show and some mild contractions had started half hour after that. These went on through the night and were between every 8 and 5 mins apart. By 9pm they we every 5 to 3mins apart but not to painfull i could cope with it. I managed to get some sleep from 1am till 4.30am. I got woke up by quite strong contractions and i woke my OH up as they were getting quite painfull. Steve had only had an hr and a half sleep as he been working lates. We rang the delivery suite at 9am and they asked questions and my contractions we every 3 to 5mins at this point. We requested a birthing pool and i managed to stay at home until midday but by then the pain was alot more intense.We rang delivery again they said to come up. They thought i would be about 2-3cms but when examined i was only 1cm! They prepared me with painkillers and told me about hot baths and were going to send me home again. When the 2nd midwife asked about my blood pressure i said the 1st midwife didn't say anything so thought it was fine. When the 2nd midwife checked she said i wasn't going no where as blood pressure was high. When rechecked it had gone up again!So had to stay and was given the TENS machine which was amazing and def have it again. I was reexamined at 7pm and was 2-3cms still carried on with the TENS machine and was examined again at 11pm where i was 5cm. I was then given gas and air with the TENS machine as all the way through my contractions were every 2 to 5mins. I stuck with these untill i was 8cms at 3.30am. I stuck it out another half hour then had peherdine at 4am and my waters broke at 4.30am. I was still having gas and air and the TENS machine and at 5.50 i felt the need to push. Ethan was born at 6.51am in 1 final push on the 10/11/11. Midwife had to catch him it was so unexpaceted and quick lol. I had 2nd degree tear and stitches to suit.

Was exhausted afterwards but over the moon to finally meet our gorgeous little boy.So so happy

He is a little star and really content. He sleeps 3 to 4hrs at a time and has a feed, nappy change and cuddle. Then goes straight back to sleep.

I stuck it out another half hour then had peherdine at 4am and my waters broke at 4.30am. I was still having gas and air and the TENS machine and at 5.50 i felt the need to push. Ethan was born at 6.51am in 1 final push on the 10/11/11. Midwife had to catch him it was so unexpaceted and quick lol. I had 2nd degree tear and stitches to suit.

Was exhausted afterwards but over the moon to finally meet our gorgeous little boy.So so happy

He is a little star and really content. He sleeps 3 to 4hrs at a time and has a feed, nappy change and cuddle. Then goes straight back to sleep.

Hi ladies sorry its been a while just getting things sorted and have had loads of visitors. Me steve and Ethan r doing really well. Only thing with me is my thigh muscle is badly bruised inside my leg from where i had injection for petherdine and placenta. Its that painful i can hardly walk on it but its getting better and its coz the bruising hasn't come out my leg its in my muscle.

Anyway here is my birth story. On the 8th nov at ruffly 4.30pm i had a show and some mild contractions had started half hour after that. These went on through the night and were between every 8 and 5 mins apart. By 9pm they we every 5 to 3mins apart but not to painfull i could cope with it. I managed to get some sleep from 1am till 4.30am. I got woke up by quite strong contractions and i woke my OH up as they were getting quite painfull. Steve had only had an hr and a half sleep as he been working lates. We rang the delivery suite at 9am and they asked questions and my contractions we every 3 to 5mins at this point. We requested a birthing pool and i managed to stay at home until midday but by then the pain was alot more intense.We rang delivery again they said to come up. They thought i would be about 2-3cms but when examined i was only 1cm! They prepared me with painkillers and told me about hot baths and were going to send me home again. When the 2nd midwife asked about my blood pressure i said the 1st midwife didn't say anything so thought it was fine. When the 2nd midwife checked she said i wasn't going no where as blood pressure was high. When rechecked it had gone up again!So had to stay and was given the TENS machine which was amazing and def have it again. I was reexamined at 7pm and was 2-3cms still carried on with the TENS machine and was examined again at 11pm where i was 5cm.
