Hi ladies sorry i haven't been on in a while. Ethan is keeping mummy busy but loving it and he is such a good boy . Im still breast feeding but topping up with formula as well in the evenings when he is really hungry as i end up running out of milk. Found breast feeding hard to start with but got the hang of it after the 1st week.
Only problem i have is a trapped muscle and nerves in my right thigh and sometimes the pain is so bad i can't get comfortable and struggle to look after Ethan but hey ho life goes on. Got this problem as the midwife put 2 injections in my leg in labour 1 for petherdine and the other for the placenta and it must have gone in my muscle and don't know how long it will take to get better.
Hope everyone else and their little 1s are getting on great xx _________________ url=http://daisypath.com]

Thanks Jade
Amelia-Rose is so good, she's still only really waking up for feeds although the past few days she's been staying awake for a little longer. I'm still breastfeeding at the start of every feed but she ends up getting fed up and stressed out so i give her the bottle.
I think she sometimes suffers from constipation, people have suggested cool boiled water but she won't take it, by the look on her face i think she hates it lol. _________________

ahh Lianne if you are breastfeeding then she doesn't need anything else as the breast milk is half water half food (if you get me) Finlay gets one expressed breast milk feed a day and I class that as his water.
Staks well done for keeping up with the breastfeeding, I stopped after a few days as I just decided that it would be too tiring for me to carry on and look after a toddler. If my OH drove it would have been easier as I could have had a lay in while Finlay slept but he doesn't so I have to get up to take Tyler to nursery. Finlay was taking an hour to feed from me and then he would be too tired to carry on but would want more milk so I use formula and then express and give him one feeds worth a day. He's put on half a kilo in 1 week and is taking 5oz each feed he's a little chunk already lol. _________________

Ah ok I wasn't told that by the midwives or anything, they just suggest i try cool boiled water
It's so frusterating and upsetting when Amelia-Rose strains to go and then cried cos you can see shes in a bit of pain and I just feel so helpless, i try holding her legs up or rubbing her tummy gently but it doesn't really help _________________

Hi everyone,
I've just noticed this thread! I was in the October mummies thread when i was pg cos i was due on the 20th of Octtober
I had Nathan on the 4th of Nov by emergency c section, He was 10lb 4oz the whole labour and birth was traumatic to say the least. We are both fine tho so that is the main thing.
He is such a good baby, he took to the breastfeeding really well and settles back to sleep after most of his night feeds.
I will have a read through some of the posts on here, hope you and your babies are all doing well xxx _________________
