Post subject: Financial Help
I am a single Mother of 2 boys aged 8 and 2 and my 3rd is due on 9th May 2011-I do not have a partner at present having been abandoned.
I had to give up my full time job last december due to health complications,I am finding it difficult to cope financially with buying thing ready for my due baby.Do any of you know of any Financial assistance available ??-I am told that I am not eligible for the Sure Start Maternity Grant,,all help will be appreciated. Thanks

I have been told that I cant apply for the grant too as i will be claiming maternity allowance instead of income support.
Im going to try and visit CAB and see what they say, i'll let you know if i get passed anything good!
ps - i was told if ur on income support your qualified for the grant...so if u are I would appeal for the grant!
