Hi all, seems like we;re all a little overwhelmed at the moment. Fiona I think my Baby Blues hit late too very teary past few days. Weird thing is fedding George seems to make me feel better. Spoke to midwife today and she said again keep an eye on hting but the fact that we've been getting out and about everyday since about day 4 is really positive.
Stacey you said about OH going back to work, mine goes back 5th Jan adn will be away for two nights and I am dreading it but will cross that bridge when we come to it.
Nikki hope your OK I can't imagine what you must be feeling. Sending you all my love and hugs.
Had last appoinment with Midwife this morning prior to being passed over to the health visitors. George weighed 6lb 2oz at birth, droped to 5lb 13oz at 5 day weigh in, todays weight 6lb 6oz. Really pleasedas shows how well Breastfeeding is going. Midwife said I should be really proud of myself and that they could use me as a Breast feeding advert for young Mum's (I liked the word young considering I turned 30 in November). Hopefully he may fit in some of his newborn clothes soon!

Fiona I hope they're just innocent baby blues. I seem to get very stroppy at OH (though what's new there ) but feel much better after having a good rant! I actually sometimes write myself "letters" on my laptop when I'm in the mood for a rant/cry without anyone knowing, they really help get everything out.
ctinso, lovely weight gain, well done you and Leah!
Claire, George is just gorgeous! Awh, so teensy.
Paul's back at work today. Doing a 2pm-10pm, and tomorrow a 2pm-9pm. He left at 1 and George woke at 2 until half 3 and is still asleep now. He probably won't wake until 7ish now. Isabelle's been asleep since half 4, so really, my first day alone with them has been waiting around for them to wake up!! Both babes shared a bath this morning, not sure who loved it most!
Am a bit gutted really, my local baby clinic changed earlier in the year so I think they're only around on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month. Or maybe it's the 2nd and 4th... Really want to keep checking what George weighs! Have to give the doctors a ring tomorrow, find out when they're about.
Hope you're all well xx

Hi ladies hope you all had a lovely Christmas! its good to hear all babies are gainin weight. Lexi doesn't get weighed till today so hopefully a good gain. I'm the same I just cry for no reason I think partly its because I couldn't carry on breast feeding lexi didn't attach very well and it was getting me all upset. Now she totally loaded with cold and think its because she isn't getting breast milk. I hope it passes soon my oh doesn't really understand so its a god send to speak to you ladies. I hope Leah is feeling better crystal. Stacey that's not very good my doctors have baby clinic weekly with the heatkg visitor. Any suggestion what I can do for lexi to help get rid of her stuffy nose ? Thanks ladies and have a fab new year x x x

Hi girls happy new year,
Sorry to all of those of you who have winter colds must be awful with new baby. Boody knackered as it is anyway.
Whose breastfeeding? I am determined to keep at it but it is so tiring being the only one that cn do the feeds. George is waking every three hours in the night. Have thought about expressing but all advise seemsset against it this early. Although do advise against a dummy as well but midwife said ok to give as gaining weight so well obviously getting on well with breastfeeding. Also anyone else got itchy breasts, also sore slightly sore in the cleavage area if that makes sense. Have tried feeding aying down but does not seem to settle George well think it comes out a bit thick and fast for him.

Belated happy new year to all of us and our babies! How odd to think that they were born last year...
George has given me four massive gummy smiles today, absolutely gorgeous!! Not much I can do tonight but gush over how much I love my kiddies Isabelle first smiled these kind of gummy ones at 4+5weeks but I kept saying to Paul George would be early, when he's watching me he's focusing reeally intently, I love it.
Hope all colds clear up soon! We were so cold here this morning, wanted to go to baby club for the first time but the weather was awful so didn't step foot outside. Was my first day of Paul working a whole day but all went brilliantly. When George fed Isabelle played by herself, then played "with" him when he was on the playmat and in the bouncer, then when he was upstairs sleeping she kept asking "where George?"
Hoping to get babe weighed on Thursday. He still has slight jaundice so I want to speak to the health visitors there just to check it's okay. I am breastfeeding Got to 8 months with Isabelle and will be happy to get to weaning with George. He only feeds for 10/15mins each feed but is happy for another 3/4hrs, my lil guzzler. We get lovely awake time, a good 2/3hrs sometimes. Last few nights I've kept the moses basket upstairs from about 9ish, but tonight he's been up there since 7pm after we had a nice bath. Boobs have just filled up so he must be due to wake up soon. He wakes at 2am for a feed then around 6am, this morning nodded again so I had a slight "lie in" until 7am when missy woke. (though we all woke at 8.30 the other day!!)
Hope you've all had a nice start to the week xx

Awww thank you hun
I have popped in every now and then, and so pleased for you all! Congratulations to every one of you ladies. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about my little ones, and one day I will get to hold my baby in my arms.
Just an update though, I had tests done to see if there were any reasons for the m/cs and everything has come back clear so far I had mixed feelings to begin with, but makes me more positive for the next pregnancy. I don't think I'll be having a 2012 baby , (as my OH isn't totally ready to try again), but fingers crossed I'll be pregnant by the end of the year !!
Take care ladies xxx
