Post subject: which is the best/most sensitive pregnancy test to use??

Hi everyone Very Happy

Im now 8 days late and have had 3 BFN's this week Sad

1st test, 2 days late. 2nd was on day 4 late and the 3rd test today at day 8 late.
each time ive tested with a cheap no name test ( it had an high sensitivity of 25 )

am i just wishfull thinking that a branded test would give me a more accurate result??

which test's do you use???

I'd say a First Response Early Result test is the most sensitive at 15 miu, and make sure you test with first morning urine. Alternatively go to your GP and ask for a blood test?

If you use first response you can test five days before you're period is due but you might want to wait until the day your period is late because you don't want to feel like you're testing to soon

I would say first response as well as they are really high sensitivity, i took a clearblue one 4 days before missed period and came up with rather faint positive, and next day toook first response and got a really strong positive Smile

I agree! Got my bfp at 10dpo (5 days before af due) with Superdrug. I think they are really sensative at 10 miu xx

Post subject: A positive thought for all waiting for BFP

I was trying for a baby for 8 months with no luck untill my period was late 1 week but I had a negitive test I had been referred to the hospital for tests also that week. I attended hospital had a blood test and urine internal and external scan all came back negitive but they found no problems so that was fab. I went home looking forward to next months trying! The next week now 2 weeks late I just felt strange did a test and got a BFP !! after all the hospital tests were negitive how could this be?? but im now two years on with a lovely little boy ! I was 6 weeks pregnant before I got a positive test!!

I've always found the Tesco ones to be really good.
