Post subject: a yummy tomato sauce base
I blanched 10 large tomatoes and the peeled them and blitzed in the blender. I then put in a big pan with some basil and a 200g block of feta chopped up. Leave to simmer for 2hrs at least to allow to thicken. You can then use this as a base for loads of things. I put kidney beans and sausages in my first attempt. My next use will be to pour it over some cauliflower and bake it!
