Post subject: Thanx 4 ur reply anna.
We hav an appointment on tuesday finally after waiting 11 weeks for her 2 get measured for her boots. She walks quite well bare footed even tho her feet roll in she grips the floor tight wiv her toes but wen she has shoes on she can't do this so falls ova almost constantly. It dusnt bother me but it gets me dwn i no i shudnt let it but u just want the best 4 ur children dnt u. _________________

Post subject: I know hun, I think you are doing a fantastic job. It must be awful to see her struggle so much poor little thing.
Hopefully the boots will really help - they definitely helped Isaac loads. Just to warn you though, they are quite rigid, so the first couple of weeks aren't great. Just persevere and keep her in them whenever she is awake and moving!! Once they get used to them, in my experience the progress is amazing. Hope it goes OK next week. After the measure it takes about 6 weeks to actually get the boots. Push them as much as you can - I managed to get 1 pair in just under 2 weeks once because I'd had to wait ages for appt and he'd grown out of previous pair, so they CAN do it faster if you push!! Post subject: Yes thats wot i worry about that she will take a while 2 get used to them.
Didn't realise they cud take that long her Physio sed 2 weeks so maybe there rushing them thru as weve already waited ages. _________________
