Post subject: I am a first time mum although this was a planned baby it only took a month or two now thinking about labour and all that scary stuff but i am looking forward to cuddles and kisses from bubs

Aww you're bound to be scared hun,I'm a first time mum as well and everyone thinks I'm weird because I'm not scared about labour but my answer to that is,Labour is just one little part of it,at the end,I'm gonna have my baby with me(hopefully all being well) and then we have the rest of our lives to look after them. I'm going through 9 months of pregnancy for my little one,and labour is just the way of getting to meet your little one. xx _________________

I'm due near then on 28th Jan, very excited about meeting my daughter and seeing if she takes after her mummy. Dont give it too much thought as it will make you anxious, just take every day as it comes and any concerns you have ask your m/w and bounce ideas off us here on this forum. Post subject: I am due on 28th January and am a first time mum as well. Definitely scared but looking forward to meeting our little bundle at the end of labour. My mum had difficult births with both my brother and I due to high blood pressure. I also have high blood pressure so am worried about pre-eclamsia. Fingers crossed all will be OK.

Post subject: I'm due January 9th, but both of my existing babies have come two weeks late, so I'm expecting it will be the same with this one! It's natural to be scared. This is my third and I'm still feeling worried about labour! But once it's over and you have a beautiful baby in your arms you'll know it was all worth it! We've all heard scare storries about nightmare births and on TV childbirth is always one dramatic problem after another, but for many of us childbirth is straightforward and problem free even if it is still very hard work!
