Post subject: Is that it now? i was just wondering if i see anyone now?
i know usually u would have baby, take it home, MW would come out n see you, then HV after MW discharged you... but obviously Connor been in hospital - so what happens now? i been told a mw wont come out, but havent been told anythin in regards to hv etc, so just feelin a lil lost... any1 knows what happens? xxx _________________

Post subject: I Had midwife come out as Georgia was 7 days old wen we went home then after a few days the hv then started coming round.
I think u shud get the hv coming out but if u want 2 know then u cud just ring em and ask. _________________

Post subject: you should have a HV - have a look in your red book and see if there is a name in there. If not, ring your GP and ask

Post subject: You should definately have a hv come and see you.
I remember when Lucas came home after spending 3 wks in the NNU that we had their specialist nurse come and check on him for 3 or 4 wks once at home and then a hv for 2 wks before being told to attend the clinic. I would contact your gp as suggested above and speak to someone. I'm so glad that your lo is doing really well and at home _________________

Post subject: my baby was 8 weeks prem and came out of hospital after nearly 3 weeks mw came did a check then handed over to the HV then HV came once a week until her due date to the home to help prevent infection and then I took her to clinic x
