Hi
We are having our cotbed delivered this weekend and looking to buy a mattress for it. Can anyone recommend a good quality pocket sprung safe and easy to clean mattress from the likes of mothercare or mamas and papas? I really dont have a clue on what is the best really.
Any recommendations would b much appreciated.
Thanks
Claire

Ours was from Mothercare, I think it cost about £80. I bought the cot from there and just asked the lady in the shop for advice. It was a wipe clean top, similar to moses basket matress, so you can just wipe it over which is very useful when baby is sick and for nappy leaks. It seems comfortable enough, my LO is 19 months now and we've changed the cotbed into a bed and she still sleeps well. _________________

Depending on your budget and size of mattress you could go for John Lewis who do a sprung one for around £100 which is supposed to be good or if you can afford a bit more I find sometimes an extra £30-40 can mean not having to buy another mattress in a year or two. Try The Little Green Sheep or Abaca organic, these are chemical-free.
Hope that helps
