I'm filling out the family tax credits form and just wondering, for my earnings 2010-2011 is my maternity pay classed as earnings? Lost my p60 so have to give estimate until employer sorts it. Thank you! _________________

it does count in your earnings but not the first £100 per week so if you were on mat leave for 20 weeks of the year you can deduct £2000 from your total earnings. That's how I understand it anyway. _________________

yes i agee wih dizzylamb. its classed as an earnings but only anything over the first £100 a week so if you got £110 a week only £10 a week is classed as earnings. _________________
