Post subject: thank you so much banoffee, it means so much to have you thinking of me/us at our difficult time.
ive written an update on me here - http://www.askbaby.com/talk/viewtopic.php?t=132193 ....but to directly answer your post, last week was a real rollercoaster. amelies birthday was difficult but it helped that it was a lovely sunny day - so cold but sunny & a gorgeous blue sky. we went to a beautiful unspoilt beach near us where we let of a balloon, had some lunch and went for a walk. its nice because its a place we love going to anyway so it'll be all the more special when we go back now, plus it will be an enjoyable (if thats the right word) tradition to go back every year on amelies birthday - now as well as when we (fingers crossed) have a family. im onto a fresh start now and looking forward to 2012. thanks once again for your message, it really is thoughtful of you xxx _________________

Post subject: What a beautiful way to remember Amelie's birthday. Yes; i hope you do have a little family who can let their big sister know that they are thinking of her.
