2 sacs but one is empty.... Please help....????

Post subject: 2 sacs but one is empty.... Please help....???? Hello ladies,
Well I had my first scan today, I am 7 weeks pregnant. Before we got scanned we told the doctor that we have twins in both of our families so that he was aware to check this thoroughly. He did the abdomen ultrasound and he found a sac with the baby inside and its little heart beating away, and then I kept here him saying I am just trying to see in the other one.... I was like what other one lol. He then said he wanted to do a vaginal ultrasound as he couldnt see very clear due to it being so early. Turns out there are 2 sacs but one sac appears to be empty. There is nothing in it at all... Does anyone know what this means? The doctor wants me to go back in 2weeks to check it. Could it be that I have twins but the second baby is too small to see yet?? I am so confused... Any advice would be much appreciated. x _________________

yep had another scan yesterday, the second sac has got smaller, no baby in there. Doc reckons I had a twin implantation but the second baby just never grew. We do have one very healthy baby though so its all good. xx _________________
