Post subject: pregnant after laproscopic surgery successful??
My husband and I have been trying for a baby for a year and a half now. We both have two children of our own but do not share one together. Before I conceived my first child, I had an HSG done which showed that my tubes were blocked, but the dye was able to push through opening them up. I got pregnant a month later. I was then able to conceive 18 months later. Its been almost 4 years since my last pregnancy. I was taking ovulation tests that showed I was indeed ovulating. Upon visiting the fertility specialist, I was given another HSG. This time it showed both tubes blocked and the dye was not able to push through. The next option I was given was laproscopic surgery, to see if they can clear out my tubes. This is scheduled wednesday this week. My question is, if anyone has had this surgery if they were successful at conceiving after and how soon?
