Post subject: So the day has come - I'm now on maternity leave!

Post subject: Nice to be on leave huh Spinetingle? I finished last weds and we have had the most gorgeous weather since! My little guy started play school on Monday and I have had two glorious mornings off - yesterday lounged in sun and even went for a swim (my first in afew weeks). Then....
...Last night my waters broke. Not as dramatically as last time but still. Off to the hospital where they confirmed it and I have been admitted. Still no contractions and if I don't go into labour myself today I will be induced tomorrow. I totally jinxed things myself - my sister was meant to be 'on call' last night to stay with bobby in case we had to dash off as my mum and dad are away and I joked with her after my swim that all was fine and no signs of anything happening so she was probably off the hook!! Ha ha ha! Anyone else got updates?? _________________

Post subject: Hello all.
Quick post to say I had a beautiful baby daughter early hours Sunday morning, one week early. She is perfect, weighed eight pound. my waters broke early Saturday morning, totally unexpe pcted and like a bloody flood. Went to hospital and it was confirmed. Long story but I had no feral movement. And I was convinced I was contracting but was told I couldn't be as they were not showing on any equipment. They sent hubby home at eleven as I was only four centimetres. Ten minutes later I demanded another examination and they refused.I said they had to and [*CENSORED*] half an hour latter they did. Telling me before hand I was not contracting and I had a low pain threshold. They found I was ten centimetres dilated and yes bloody dilating!! Queue all alarms going off and baby entering within for hours. She was ventose and I was cut. I had only paracetamol it happened so fast and she is amazing. full story to follow, congrats to everyone else.my signal is poo so can't really see us anyone else has popped tree. Post subject: Well..... My little boy - baby Elliot - arrived at 4.15pm yesterday by induction as waters had broken and had no contractions. Although contractions came very hard and fast eventually the actual birth itself was far easier and quicker than with Bobby.
He is a very beautiful and cute little thing and I am totally smitten! Good luck to you all! Xxx _________________

Post subject: Hi everyone hope your well. I dont really come on anymore but thought id update that my gorgeous girl amy was born on 27th aug by elective section. She was 8lbs14 & has a huge mop of dark hair. I stayed in hospital an extra day at my own request because i found section much harder this time.

Post subject: Just been to midwife. She said baby is still free and there's no way she'll do a sweep when baby isn't ready.
Starting to get lots of pain with movement now which is a pain in itself. Also can't sleep. Starting to really wish this was over now. Absolutely convinced I'm going to go overdue. Boo hoo xx
