Post subject: Short list of girl's names, what do you think? Hi ladies, we are down to 3 names for our little lady, just wondered what you think? My fave is different to OH's so think we are going to battle this one out until the end!!

The thing is with Sophie, I haven't heard many around this way at all..... it was the same with Oliver, very popular aparently but ds hasn't got any other Olivers in his whole year (4 classes of 30 kids!) and I don't really hear it very often around the town, park, play centres etc..... I do really like Hannah too but just Sophie is top of my list atm, why is it so hard picking names?!!! xx _________________ After a horrible few years, life is good.

Post subject: Hi Victoria, long time no speak lol, congrats on having a girl! I voted Sophie as I think it's a less common name, I know loads of kids/adults here (wales) and in Stoke who are called Chloe and Hannah and don't know any Sophies (except Sophie Webster on Corrie which I don't think counts lol)

 I voted Hannah too, but then I am biased when I picked it though I didn't know anyone who had used it and then about 5yrs later it became really popular but now I don't think it's common  I know loads of Sophies though , could you not go with one as a first name and one as a middle name Although I still think Hannah Sophie ----- would sound better xxx Posted: Mon Feb 27, 2012 10:31 am

It's funny because I've asked others and they have said Hannah and Chloe are more common than Sophie.....I think it must depend on where you live?
I've not really heard any Sophie, Chloe or Hannahs around here though. Christine, it's soooo bloody hard! We had a boys name sorted no probs..... xx _________________ After a horrible few years, life is good.

Sorry was in a rush last time so didn't reply properly: Nat, we're having Grace as a middle name as it's sentimental, so we'll only be using the names for 1st name only. Kate, was so pleased to see your bfp hun I did post in novemeber mummies to you when I saw your ticker on another post. Really hope all goes well for you.
We're still not decided on the name, OH wants Hannah, I want Sophie and none of us are willing to budge atm....she will be nameless xx_________________ After a horrible few years, life is good.

Post subject: I voted sophie. I know girls with all those names but theyre all lovely. When i had ellie, there were no other ellie-mai's but now theres loads. In her class theres her, elle (prounounced ellie) and an elouise. Dont think theres gonna be any other Drews though, lol xx

Post subject: I couldn't vote as I love chloe and sophie the same!!
Chloe was another we had for charlotte and sophie is my sisters name which is the only reason it wasn't an option for us. All the girls in my family have louise or bernadette as a middle name.
I am jennifer louise, sis sophie louise and my girly charlotte louise which I love that we all have the same middle name!! xx _________________
