Post subject: Support needed after miscarriage!
Ive joined this forum for some support and guidance,
I miscarried in Jan of this year and finding it hard at the moment,
i work as a nurse and so in an place mainly full of females,
over the past two weeks three of the girls have told me that they
are expecting. they do not know that i have miscarried as not told that many
people i work with, so struggling right now.

Me and my fiance have been trying again since after my last period, i have just taken a
test as my period should be due tomorrow, but it states not pregnant.

i feel like im at breaking point! please help me either with guidance or just some one to talk to please xx Sad

I'm so sorry for your loss hun. I also work as a nurse in a hospital and when I lost my first baby two of my colleagues were expecting, and then when I lost my second baby another colleague annouced she was expecting.
It's not easy to deal with, but time is a great healer.
I had counselling recently, and I would recommend it so you can talk your feelings to someone. (Although, I know it's not for everyone)
Have you spoken to your fiance about your feelings?
If you ever need to chat you can always pm me. Take care hun xxx

Post subject: thank you!
Hiya Ladies,
thank you for your reply, actually didnt think that i would get a reply,
things are still a bit patchy, but feeling a tad better, dont really know how im going to deal with it all, but putting a brave face on for some people, i guess it would be easier if i was just open about my miscarriage at work but dont really like talking about it at work.

I do talk to my boyfriend about the whole situation, he understands i think what im going through but not totally, Ive just started saying to him that if it happens it happens if it doesnt then it doesnt, i guess i should really start believing my own words!

I have never heard of pregnancare, what is it and what does it do?

thanks xxx

Hi honey, just read your post and wondering how you're coping now. Keep ur chin up and don't forget we're here for you if you need anyone. Pregacare is a multi-vitamin tablet you can get in the chemist, has all the vitamins and nutrients you need when you are trying to get pregnant or in early pregnancy. I have my fingers crossed 4 u that you will conceive again and have a good pregnancy. Good luck. Hope all is going ok 4 u at work. I know it's difficult, especially to see others who are pregnant, but please be assured that there are many others in the same boat as you who have lost their wee babies. It's not easy. xxx
