Hi ladies
My lo is now on 3 meals a day. She has the following schedule
7am. 7oz
8am. Porridge
10.30am. 4oz
12pmish. Lunch (around 5 tablespoons of meat/veg), petit filous
2.30ish. 5oz
4pmish. Tea (around 5 tablespoons of meat/veg)
7pmish. Struggling to get her to drink, usually takes 3oz
Is it possible that I'm feeding her too much food? I was under the impression she would stop when had enough, she generally slows down when had enough. Is this right? I'm concerned she not getting much fluid between 2pm and 7pm and she generally doesn't have another bottle until 7am the next morning.
Can anyone offer any advice? When I give her the milk she's not "asking for it", I just offer it. She only taking a few sips of water at meal times so not getting much fluid that way either.
Thanks xx

Well, Caelan's not even 5 months but is eating as much as your LO, more actually... And about the same amount of milk, so I don't think you're overfeeding her.
Is she drinking plenty of water when she eats his meals? If so, I really wouldn't worry about her fluid intake in the evening. _________________

She only drinks 1/2 oz at most at each meal and the spits the rest out, which makes me worry she's not getting enough fluid. _________________

Does your lo give you signs that he's had enough? _________________

I was told you can't overfeed a baby and they'll stop when they're full. Jamie eats loads but is still slimming down _________________

When he's done with his bottles he pushes his bottle out with his tongue. With solid food he starts spitting it out if he doesn't want anymore. (which doesn't happen very often)
Caelan sometimes drinks loads of water, sometimes barely any.
I would say though if she doesn't get enough fluids you would notice in the nappies, hard poo and very yellow wee all the time. I wouldn't worry hun. _________________
