Hi Everyone,

You know the saying how did you discover it?

Well, I discovered how to make the most amazing roast potatoes on sunday, I had run out of cooking oil and was not impressed. So I thought about it and thought hmmmm then a brain wave happened.

I greased the oven tray, and poured a little boiling water in it then placed it in the oven while I parboiled the potatoes, once they were ready to go in, I took the tray out of the oven and sprinkled in some vegtable gravy granules into the water, then poured in the potatoes along with most of the water they had boiled in.

Roasted for 35 mins and they were amazing! the water dried up and left the potatoes to go crispy and perfect and lots more healthy too.
