Post subject: Hi ladies..well some of you already know...but, i'm still here
I've had 6 days now of 'them calls'...the 'have you had the baby yet?' ... I didn't realise how annoying it can get lol...I swear, I will never ever ask an over due lady that question, ever again So as some of you may know...Masiemoosmummy has had her baby today, i'll let her give you the full details..but shes a wee cutie Not many of us left now eh? I've got my sweep booked for thursday so fx'd that gets this madam moving, as i've tried every other avenue Aww, MrsOz...poor poppy and her first cold. I think its quite common in the early days apparently its just the excess mucus coming up off the chest from being in the amniotic fluid. Those sensor mats are a god send though, we've just set our up in the cot this week too as we'll probably use the moses basket downstairs more. _________________ ![]() Posted: Wed Dec 12, 2012 9:22 am

Mum thinks I have been nesting today but that doesn't really mean much I guess! N signs apart from that! Major congratulations to everyone that has had their little miracle - so giddy now! Xxx

Post subject: I wonder if any of you will have a Christmas day baby?! I will be looking out for your news ladies. FX you don't have to wait much longer.
Hope everyone is well and the baby bundles that are here are doing well. Poppy is on a 4 - 4 1/2 hour routine and is starting to be awake a lot more and seems to be taking her surroundings more now. Still not at the 6lb mark yet but definately on our way. I do my best to tire her out in the day so night time feeds she settles within 45 mins (total opposite to Evie who was a nightmare) so I am managing to get rest. I am still on my meds and totally exhausted from that. We took Evie to see Thomas the Tank engine and Santa and I spent the next 2 days practically asleep recovering! lol! My kidneys still don't feel like they are working properly yet as I have pains and cramping in them and my headache which I had (from the epidural that went in scewiff and left a leak) is settling so I have stopped taking the pethidine for that so i know i must be on the mend. How is every one else? Are you physically recovering now? For those who have akready got a LO are you recovering quicker this time? And are you managing to get rest and sleep? How are your OHs with supporting? MrOz is brilliant - 2 more weeks until i can drive so hopefully I can be of more use so he doesn't have to do everything. Heti - I had no twinges or anything first time round the the Tuesday I began mild cramping until the early Thurs morn I had evie, so don't worry cos once it starts it won't stop! lol! Good luck, hope you are comfy. xx _________________

Post subject: Hi everyone
Not sure if you've seen but there's a little update from char in gen preg...no baby yet..but maybe not long now Charlene..good luck tomorrow chick. .is your little man much better now? Ate your prepared for tomorrow? Heti. .I agree with MrsOz you probably won't get any signs..both mine were very different too so this time round I wasnt even convinced I was in actual labour as it was more period type pains as opposed to labour with my son where the pain was all in my lower back. And when it starts..it won't stop until baby arrives. Good luck. Are you hoping he'll (is it defo a he?) Come before Xmas day or after? MrsOz..I can't believe poppy is a month old already. Well Matilda is a week old today and I can't believe how she's just settled into our family life. She's such an easy contented baby. She's breastfeeding well and took to it straight away. Sleeps like a good un going upto 5hrs+ through the night _________________ ![]() Posted: Wed Dec 19, 2012 6:50 pm

Post subject: Hi toots! You are not quite the last one standing - ELKelly has not had hers yet (due date yday) and I am guessing that heti is still holding on too? How are you feeling? Are you comfortable? Must feel strange lasting so long when your other two were early.
Congrats to both Charm and Charl, excellent work to you both. Not read birth stories yet - will check next. Charl - I really don't notice how small Poppy is until I compare her with other full term babies then I realise - a friend had a full term babe one week before Poppy and she is double her size! She is managing 5 hour feeds now, so I am not so jealous of those who are already at 5 hours! She takes around 4oz each time, and although I haven't had her weighed for over a week, I would guess that following the chart, she now weighs about 5lb 14oz. How are you ladies getting along? Are you well in yourselves and recovering from the births? How are babies settling in at home? Much love xx _________________
