Post subject: New Bed
Anyone have any tips for moving on from the moses basket? George is outgrowing his. We have a crib which we can have in our room or his cot in his room which is much more comfy. He is 4 1/2 months old and would still ideally like him in with us but on the other hand cot would probably be more comfy for him.

When we got Harry to go into his crib we put his carrier into the crib for the first few nights and then took it away and put him in the crib.

When we changed him to a cot we just shoved him straight in and he was fine

Personally I would put him in the crib and keep him in with you. Jamie was in his moses basket in the crib anyway and then we just put him in. I don't think there would be much difference comfort wise. He may actually find the crib better as he might find the big space of the cot overwhelming

my son went from moses basket to cot straight away, one way of doing it is by putting him in moses basket in cot for him to get use to cot
